Project Overview
The platform reorganises an 11-week Principles of Business Law course into a guided digital learning path. It connects plain-language explanations, legal rules, case authorities, decision sequences and exam preparation.
The experience is designed to help learners understand why a rule exists and how to apply it, rather than memorising disconnected case names or definitions.
The Learning Challenge
Business-law questions require learners to identify the correct issue, apply rules in a precise order and support the analysis with relevant authority. Linear notes make this reasoning process difficult to practise.
The design challenge was to preserve legal detail while building a clear route from first-principles understanding to structured exam application.
Learning System
The current product combines four learning layers.
Course Map
Eleven teaching weeks provide a visible learning sequence from legal systems through contract, consumer, tort and agency law.
Detailed Lessons
Each topic explains the rule, why it matters, a concrete example, common mistakes and an exam-writing method.
Case Authorities
Cases are connected to the legal proposition and the way that authority should be used in analysis.
Exam Pathways
Decision routes, short-answer scope and practice tools translate course knowledge into issue spotting and structured responses.
Design Approach
Mapped the complete course before writing individual topic explanations.

Current Outcome
The live platform covers all 11 teaching weeks and integrates detailed lessons, case authorities, course navigation and exam-focused guidance.
The project demonstrates how legal content, knowledge architecture and interaction design can work together to support both conceptual understanding and applied revision.
