Project Overview

The research library presents complete underwriting work on a deliberately limited group of public companies. Each company page connects a bilingual report with model notes, source records, quality review, risks and monitoring variables.

The platform prioritises research depth and testable questions over popularity or index weight. Its purpose is to make the evidence chain behind a thesis visible rather than presenting a rating without the underlying work.

The Research Challenge

Company research can become fragmented across filings, earnings calls, models, market expectations and narrative updates. Without a consistent structure, assumptions can be mistaken for facts and thesis changes can be difficult to trace.

The challenge was to create a reusable underwriting and monitoring system that preserves primary evidence, distinguishes uncertainty and remains readable for a public audience.

Research System

The platform connects four research layers.

Company Underwriting

Selected companies receive full business, financial, valuation, risk and thesis analysis rather than short-form coverage.

Models & Sources

Operating models, source ledgers and quality reviews keep calculations and evidence traceable.

Bilingual Reports

English and Chinese research versions make the same analytical structure accessible across both languages.

Weekly Monitoring

Filings, earnings, guidance, calls, catalysts and falsifiers are reviewed against the existing thesis each week.

Research Approach

Selected a focused company universe where complete underwriting could be maintained.

Separated facts, company guidance, market expectations, assumptions and inference throughout the research process.

Connected operating drivers to financial statements, valuation requirements and downside risks.

Recorded source provenance and review status alongside the written conclusion.

Defined monitoring variables and falsifiers so each thesis can be updated when evidence changes.

Current Outcome

The live public library currently includes complete bilingual underwriting for six companies across compound semiconductors, on-site power, data-centre infrastructure, optical interconnect, biotechnology and memory storage.

A weekly research layer tracks changes, catalysts and falsifiers across the selected universe, turning static reports into an ongoing evidence-monitoring process.
