Project Overview
Bubble Atlas studies a central investment question: a technology can succeed while many associated equities still fail to justify earlier prices. The platform connects historical cases, current AI-cycle monitoring and research articles in one public research environment.
Rather than presenting a single bubble score, it separates completed evidence, live tests, research candidates and unavailable data so the strength and limits of each conclusion remain visible.
The Research Challenge
Technology narratives often combine adoption, company performance, valuation and market timing into one conclusion. These are different questions that require different evidence and can move on different timelines.
The design challenge was to make a complex and evolving research process readable without turning incomplete evidence into certainty or hiding gaps behind a polished interface.

The platform is organised around four connected evidence layers.
Historical Cases
Completed cases connect price paths, reported fundamentals and evidence limitations across earlier technology cycles.
Current-cycle Tests
A bounded live monitor tests whether operating delivery is keeping pace with rising expectations in a defined AI sub-cycle.
Research Articles
Long-form notes convert market claims, mechanisms and bottom signals into explicit questions, sources and falsifiers.
Evidence Boundaries
Status labels and unavailable fields distinguish verified facts, incomplete coverage, proxies and unresolved work.
Design Approach
Separated technology adoption from equity-return and valuation questions.
Designed evidence status as part of the reading experience rather than placing caveats only at the end.
Connected historical cases, current monitoring and research articles through one consistent framework.
Used restrained visualisations to clarify timing and evidence relationships without implying unsupported causality.
Kept live coverage deliberately bounded instead of presenting a broad market conclusion from a small sample.
Current Outcome
The live platform now presents completed historical cases, a current AI-cycle test, research articles, an evidence overview and a six-stage technology-cycle map.
The project demonstrates how public-equity research, information architecture and web development can be combined into a transparent, continuously updated research product.
